24.A
Male U19 and Female U21:
All teams are eligible to enter the League Cup compe琀椀琀椀on.
The League Cup will be split into the qualifying compe琀椀琀椀on and compe琀椀琀椀on proper.
The Championship, Division One and Reserves Teams will enter the qualifying compe琀椀琀椀on and the premier teams will join the compe琀椀琀椀on proper.
Teams exi琀椀ng the early stages of the qualifying compe琀椀琀椀on will qualify for entry into the Trophy Compe琀椀琀椀on. Premier teams will not be eligible
to enter the Trophy compe琀椀琀椀on. Female premier teams are eligible to enter the Trophy Compe琀椀琀椀on.
24.B
Any player registered in accordance with Rule 18 shall be eligible to take part in the Cup compe琀椀琀椀on subject to the
following:
1.
Any player having played for one team in the Cup compe琀椀琀椀on is Cup Tied and cannot play in the Cup compe琀椀琀椀on for another team. For
clubs that have more than one team in the League please note that players cannot mix between cup teams.
2.
To be eligible to play in the Quarter Final, Semi-Final or Final a player must have played in 2 league matches for their team and have played
for their team in a previous round of the cup. Outside cup compe琀椀琀椀ons do not count. Clubs with more than one team in the League will only be
allowed to 昀椀eld their normal players for that par琀椀cular division in which they play.
3.
Clubs can apply for special dispensa琀椀on for a player to play in the Quarter-Final, Semi-Final or Final and this must be submi琀琀ed in wri琀椀ng to
the league secretary with any evidence required. The board will consider dispensa琀椀on based on medical grounds and goalkeeper availability.
24.C
In Cup compe琀椀琀椀ons, any team causing a match to be abandoned will forfeit the 琀椀e.
Any team playing ineligible, or suspended, player(s) in a Cup Match will forfeit the game to their opponents and will be dealt with dealt with as per Rule
18. In addi琀椀on, if any of the above o昀昀ences are commi琀琀ed in a Cup Final, the opponents will be declared the winners and trophies will be withheld
from the o昀昀ending team.
24.D
In all rounds of the Cup compe琀椀琀椀ons if the scores are level at the end of normal 琀椀me the winner of the match shall be decided by extra 琀椀me of 15
minutes each way and if the score is s琀椀ll level then the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the Laws of the Game.
24.E
In Cup compe琀椀琀椀ons subs琀椀tu琀椀ons will be allowed as per League Rule 20(F). Any player whose name appears on the Match Report Form as a subs琀椀tute
but does not play shall not be Cup-琀椀ed in that compe琀椀琀椀on.
24.F
The Management Commi琀琀ee will decide Cup Final venues and kick o昀昀 琀椀mes. Once kick o昀昀 琀椀mes and grounds have been established for the Cup Finals
there will be no altera琀椀on except where weather condi琀椀ons may intervene.
